I am a frustrated traveler. Meeting new faces in unfamiliar places is one way of easing stress. Also, I love to appreciate the spellbinding spots of the different places I come to visit. There are so many interesting places I’d like to visit and I want to explore them all. But my recent trip to a certain resort is a great dismay.
Friday night, I went to bed early since I was too excited on this trip and this is my chance to once again commune with nature. In the morning, I immediately packed my needed clothes and other travel necessities and met with my friends. The whole trip was both tiring and fun. It took us more than an hour to reach the destination. During our ride, I had fun appreciating the scenic landscape of the place. So I was hoping that the resort is wonderful enough to compensate for the long hours of travel.
After an hour, we reached the resort. To my great dismay, the resort is now what I’ve envisioned. I wanted to ride with the large crashing waves but all I see is brown water. Not a fun sight to behold, eh? I didn’t even took lots of pictures because it is so difficult to find a good subject..hehe.. The food is not bad, but it was not sumptuous enough to enjoy. While we were eating, I was thinking of what my mother had prepared back home. My mom loves to cook and she makes it a point to cook something special on weekends. And lastly, the accommodation was horrible. The staffs were not pleasant. I guess they are not used to seeing mortals in their resort..hehe
To sum it up, this is the trip that would never make it to my most-wanted trip list. This will be lesson learned for me..
